'Descendants' Writers Sell Action-Comedy Pitch... →
okay. maybe i’m tired. maybe this was poorly written. but when i read it, i had this image of a movie about a woman who has an Indian Paintbrush (whatever that is) permanently attached to her (i’m guessing her hand, but again, tired and so not creative) and her adventures.
it seemed like a very odd premise.

I fell in love with Ray Bradbury’s “The Laurel and Hardy Love Affair” when I was in high school. It’s in The Toynbee Convector, which is another short story that I absolutely love. But this one, man, this one gets me every. single. time. i read it. And I’ve read it aloud to two people in my life (strangely, both were over the phone) and ended up as this sobbing,...

Watching the Jimmy Kimmel Post-Oscars special — “Book Club Fight Club” is THE most likeable I’ve ever found Oprah. And i would TOTALLY watch OWN if that actually aired.

my mother just said, “I’ve never heard of Leap Day Williams. Have you?”
(this is the same woman who asked if a car came “with pillows.” my brother translated it to “air bags.”)

new hair!
i had a ridiculously hard time trying to capture the new hair — it’s all dark, with two streaks that basically look like an iridescent oil streak (in the prettiest of ways!). it’s purple, blue and grey.
it’s super windy outside, so trying to get a good pic with natural light (you know, before the snowstorm) wasn’t working so well, and inside, it just came out like a...

Picture! Picture! I’m not quite sure the point either - I’ve had one for quite some time & I think the only things on mine are some owls & Amy Poehler. I think its just so people can be like ‘hey look how cool I am! I like cool things!’
i will tomorrow! for i am very vain and need to properly apply the...
i’m trying to figure out the point of Pinterest. so far, super bored with it.
i chopped my hair and had chunks of it dyed grey. kind of counterintuitive for someone who is very self-conscious about my fat face and being old, but it looks great.
i’m starting to get wrapped up in my head.
you should totes ask me something. anything. i need to think about something else.

:( i’m sorry. have you seen a doctor about any of this? for me, even having xanax, knowing it was in my bag, helped a little bit at first. and then of course, if it got bad, the meds were there. i hope you feel better soon.
thanks honey — and yes, xanax is a good friend of mine ;)

i was doing pretty well today. and then i was hit by a horrible anxiety attack and chest pain and i’m just SO frustrated. and i realize that my triggers are things that i really can’t do anything about.
and the one thing i need is the one thing i can’t seem to get.
i really need a moment, and i need someone to support me for just a little while. just to get to the curb.

sometimes i find it really exhausting breaking myself into pieces and filtering what comes out in each outlet — be it different online sites, groups or even single friends. it’s not like i’m lying, or even being secretive but i do filter everything for the potential audience. i know, i know, everyone does that.

So all the news is abuzz with word about the latest affronts to women’s health care. About how men want to get all UP in our business while throwing words like religion around, regardless of a woman’s personal beliefs.
But then I was talking to a friend last night about periods and all the issues that surround hers, and everything I went through before the hysterectomy. And I fully...

Project Runway: Season One
Oooh, they’re replaying the first season of Project Runway on Style right now. Oh, Jay McCarol, how I adore you this season.
In the second episode, they are working with cotton but get to go shopping for trim. I just realized that they go to Daytona Trim! I love Daytona — I have bought so, so much stuff there. My skirt for my “Don’t Stop Believin’/GLEE” act was...
