We may tend to think of Stormtroopers simply as anonymous henchmen of Galactic Empire, but that’s probably because we rarely get to see them with their guard down. Sometimes Stormtroopers grow bone-weary and it’s a lucky thing when little Pikachu are there to offer support.
This heartwarming and delightfully geeky candid family photo was taken by Coolmikeol during FanimeCon 2011 in San Jose, CA. I made my three-year-old niece her first convention/Halloween costume this year. If you ask her who she is dressed as, she’ll reply, “Tiny Princess Captain America!”
On Halloween, we discovered that if you point to a kid in a Captain America costume and ask her who he’s dressed as, she will also reply, “Tiny Princess Captain America!”
Attagirl.

My head canon is that each of the Avengers ends up with core group of fangirl/boys, like Natasha’s (or the one she acknowledges) are teenage girls mainly who see her as their hero, little boys love the Hulk, but Thor? Little girls between like the ages of 4 and 10, cause dude he is a Prince, who rides on a rainbow bridge, and is basically the fairy tale prince in real life. And Thor fucking loves it. His room at the Tower is just plastered with drawings they send him, and he tries as hard as he can to respond to each and every letter he gets.

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD THIS IS TOO CUTE
I LOVE THIS FAMILY. I saw them last year and talked to them and they are ALL SORTS OF AWESOME. They pick a theme for EACH DAY of D*C and I fell in love on last year’s Doctor Who day. The little ones were dressed as DW villains — I’m pretty sure the middle one was a cyberman.
This year, I was on the look out for them and was OVERJOYED when they came to J. August Richard’s table about 20 minutes before I had to go. I got to geek out over them and tell the mom how excited I was to see them. They were the Avengers — dad was Agent Coulson, mom was Captain America, the oldest boy was THE most badass Nick Fury, the middle one was Hawkeye (and got mad at me for using the flash on my camera ;)) and the little girl was Black Widow.
I’ll post a photo when I download them.
