mtv lifer writing a Joss Whedon biography to come out in 2013. i watch a lot of television. a lot. and i talk about fandom and television in general lot. For the sixteen anniversary of Buffy’s premiere, a bunch of Bronzers are posting photos from the gatherings big and small.
I offer you me in all my super dorky glory, from my first PBP in 1999.
i need to make a list of everything i want to do, read and watch as soon as i hand in the final manuscript, says the girl who is up at 3am, transcribing the second dvd of joss interviews.
(i’ve watched them both several times, but i’m consolidating all my notes in a new journal and figured it’d be best to do a full rewatch in case i missed anything.)
man, i forgot that the guy doing the interview for “the write environment” is pretty terrible. he’s bland and asks questions about things covered a million times (joss hates alien: resurrection! shock!) in ways that shows just how unprepared he is. joss keeps pointing out that his feelings on certain things are already well-documented and correcting him on silly things like facts.
he’s making me feel like i’m the best. interviewer. in. the. world.
A friend recommended this to me and it was my laptop wallpaper for a while. It’s going back up to get me through the next 36 hours.
I have so much more to write. I need a little more time, but I will soldier through. I will send this manuscript first thing Monday morning.
I am a writer, and I will finish the shit that I started.
… so this is my life. I think when people ask me “How’s it going?” I’m going to start referencing a gif.
i’m currently at Spock
apparently i cannot stay up until 7am, get 3 hours of sleep and then exist like a functioning human being. my body just shuts down and demands sleep.
good to know, but that does not work with my current need to have another 30k+ done on the book by tuesday.
all the stuff coming out of SDCC is not helping either — joss is killing me, man. almost literally.
